Observations
Observations will be recorded every 12 weeks, and more often if needed. Parents will be kept up to date will developments which occur in the setting, and are encouraged to share information about things that have happened at home.
Assessments- 2 year check
The government requires that children are assessed at the age of 2 years to check their stage of development. I am able to complete the two year check once your child is aged 2 and has been at my setting for at least 4 weeks.
Transitions to Nursery/School
I will do my best to help children through transitions by encouraging school readiness through activities, discussions and outings. With the consent of parents I will pass on observations to teachers to give create a picture of the child, their learning and development and preferred learning styles.
